Always classic, always elegant, there is a special kind of magic that comes with a bold midi velvet dress.

Whatever you do, you must remember that boldness and dazzle are not reserved any more for cocktail parties and you don’t have to wait for NYE to pull out your rich textures. Statement-making material are fitting for any upcoming cocktail party. After all, there is nothing more festive than a little sparkle.

Of all the dress styles, fits, and shapes, this dress (on sale, only £26!) has quickly become one of my favourites. Honestly it looks great on everyone! The length is super flattering (not too long or too short), the cinched waist helps create an hourglass shape and the deep V combined with a halter neck adds a perfect touch of sass and fun.

Accents are key, and lately, I love pairing my dresses with sparkly bags (similar) and shoes. A slightly more modern and fresher approach to add a bit of edge to classic looks.

A statement bag (similar) can dress an outfit up like nothing else, so I’m always on a lookout for a cute one.

Like I said before, sparkles are a bit of an obsession at the moment, and shoes are no exception! Dramatic, elegant, and just plain fun, fact that they elongate your legs like nothing else is definitely icing on the cake!

One of my favourite accents of all time, I love wearing crystal hair pins! It never fails to make a statement, takes exactly zero time to execute and can transform any outfit into something totally evening appropriate. Seriously! I wear these pins with anything, jeans, dresses, work suits and the end result always looks incredibly glam!
