There are so many Spring/Summer 2019 trends, but I’m here to tell you about the ones that are going to genuinely affect mine and who knows maybe even your wardrobe by the time you finish reading this article.

A new season deserves a closet refresh from tiered gowns (with fabric to spare – for those romantic at heart) to utility dressing (a little more to the point).

Peruse 5 trends that sparked my interest.

BEIGE AND SALMON PINK

Earth tones are back in a big way from sand to tan, cream, and khaki. It’s time to lighten up.

SS19 it’s predominantly all about relaxed elegance coming in simple, demure silhouettes in equally soft colours like oatmeal, biscuit, blush pink and off-white. In basic terms, one of the chicest things a girl can wear.

This colour palette looks grown-up, sophisticated and expensive.

LEOPARD PRINT

Surprised to see leopard print all over again for SS19?

The trend is transitioning from one season to another but what’s moved on is that leopard print has become inherently more elegant, with classic midi skirts and genteel separates in animal patterns and neutrals.

BOWS

This trend is set to rule more than any other this spring and it’s one of the prettiest and most romantic I can think of.

Whether big or small, these whimsical little additions will be found on everything, from decorating shoes and adorning frocks, to jewellery and hair accessories.

NEON

From elegant and subtle beiges to punchy pinks, highlighter yellows and vivid greens, this spring is looking brighter than ever!

Neon clothing will always turn heads, but there are more subtle, grown-up ways to style it out, from blending with muted tones, to opting for simple accessories.

EXTRA EXTRAS

Fashion influencers, editors and A-listers have all been swapping their regular-sized accessories for the extreme design.

If your accessories for SS19 aren’t big enough to warrant your postcode, you better quickly replenish your wardrobe to stay abreast.

    Great ruffle dress. The salmon color is so lovely on you! I personally love coral and wore it a couple of times this season, but the nude and neutrals are probably among my favourite.
