TIGHTS

On cold days wearing tights is quite a necessity as much as it doesn’t feel right! Sadly, it also rules out the option to wear nice sparkly sandals! At least for me, I’m not the one to wear socks or tights with sandals. While most of the time solid coloured tights are the best way to go if you opt for a pair, I think it’s okay to break rules in the Christmas period and match your sparkly dress with a pair of sparkly fishnets (if bare legs are a bit too much in freezing temperatures (guilty!)). That’s the only time when more really can be more and they do look good with any shoes.

JEWELLERY

Avoid over the top jewellery with your sparkly outfit. You don’t want to look OTT and also it’s not fun to dance when your necklace or earrings keep getting get caught on things.
