When comes to parties, I like to set up individual drink stations accompanied by recipes so my guest can self-cater and make drinks they like or would like to experiment with. This also saves time for the host having to run around playing a bartender.

My personal favourite add-ons are fresh herbs like sage or rosemary. This is something out of the box for most people, since they normally think of fruits first. However, herbs take your cocktails from average to deliciously unforgettable.

Captivating Entertainment

No Gatsby-style soiree is complete without entertainment that dazzles.

Prepare a list of jazz music to fill the air with melodies of the twenties, inviting your guests to dance the Charleston and foxtrot. A mix of current hits with some classic throwback tunes makes for a great party playlist.

Consider living TV on in the background playing the iconic Gatsby films.

And there comes the dancing! Adding disco balls, glowing sticks, tonnes of balloons with my personal favourite oversized option, plus some UV lights are perfect to create disco fever!

Party scents
