Classics never die and there’s nothing like a leather jacket (real or faux) to get you in the spring mood. There are so many ways to wear it, from edgy head to toe ‘rock star’ to low-key casual pairing with jeans and a white T-shirt.
The sleek design and versatility make leather jackets easy to wear all year long, not to mention that they ‘scream’ some bold statements about your choice of style – so be sure to pick the right one for you.
Classic
If you’re a chick who wants a piece that lasts for a few years – or a decade, and also wants to keep it plain and simple, the classic black leather jacket style is the one for you. Since this style has only minimal features you have to ensure that you find a good fit.
Peplum
One of my favourite styles to express confidence. It’s a perfect style to create curves and add that bit of a feminine touch. Perfect mix of cool, edgy and a touch of glam.
The peplum style is also quite versatile, great for any occasion, from work, to play, to a weekend getaway.
Fringe
Festive, funky, and dramatic! What a trend it was in 2019, bags, dresses, shoes, jackets, you name it. I’m so glad it is not showing signs of slowing down. The fringe leather jacket can be fitted, cropped, or oversized. Take your pick. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s basically Instagram gold.
Studded
Calling all rebels! The studded leather jacket is edgy and bold. My favourite … studded shoulders.
Biker
Sleek, eye-catching and edgy! Effortless and highly Instagrammable. Originally designed for motorcyclists, with their cropped style allowing riders to lean over their bikes without the fastening digging into their body.
The biker jacket has a lot more features to it than other styles. Buckles, multiple zips, and they almost always feature a collar with large lapels. I can’t get enough of this cool look!
